Playing The Strong Suit

Sykes is again running scared from the bogeymen in his mind.

It never ceases to amaze me that someone who is constantly accusing others of using the "victim card" is always so quick to use the card himself. Even if he has to make stuff up to use it.

Of course, to be fair, he's not the only right winger to do that.

I guess that they just complain about it more, because they stick to what they know best.

  1. Were the various and sundry radio talk show hosts a bit more fair and honest with those who offer opposing views on their programs
(hitting the mute button to silence an opposing view that makes sense, and then pretending to win the argument with a final unanswered diatribe is my least favorite deception), there would be no need to consider a "fairness doctrine".

However, the most pristine point is this: Belling and Sykes were more than willing to give up civil liberties in response to the "war on terror" that did not directly affect their pay checks.

That they now whine that their right to free speech is being taken away is hilarious, given that they cared not a wit for citizens denied the rights of privacy or rights to a fair and prompt trial.
