I know the GOP owns WTMJ and WISN, but people do get their sources from people who aren't getting paid to lie. They do know that, don't they? It must suck to live your life in a bubble like that.

Chutzpa!

There's an old definition of chutzpa that explains it's a man who murders his parents and then begs the mercy of the court because he's an orphan.

There's a new definition now. Chutzpa is a man with a daily talk radio show on a station owned by a newspaper who writes a syndicated column and enjoys a weekly TV show and then bitches about the media restricting his viewpoint.

There are other words which fit equally well.

Exception to the rule

The Nation says we should celebrate a recent victory in Congress:

Of course, in Milwaukee we live in a different dimension, where one company already owns the only daily newspaper, a television station, AM and FM radio stations, and a flock of suburban weeklies.

It's what the talkers on their radio station like to call the free market.
