What do you suppose McBride means when she writes:

If Hillary manages to lose the primary...

Which primary would that be? There are 50 of them, plus the Iowa caucuses.

What she means, of course, is, "If Hillary manages to lose the nomination . .."

Close enough for Internet journalism, I guess. It wouldn't get past the copy desk at a newspaper.
