When the state budget was finally being finished, McBride lamented that the Republicans who voted yes didn't know how to vote, because there was no talk radio to tell them what to do. This was, of course, easily refuted.
Now, McBride clarifies what she apparently meant. There is conservative talk radio in the state, it just not as important as Milwaukee's talk radio. So, in McBride's world, if the Republican legislators in upstate Wisconsin want to know what their constituents think, they need to listen to Milwaukee's talk radio, even though it may be several hundred miles away from their home base.
