Charlie -- not to mention his emailer -- also could have pointed out that MATC has policies in place laying out gender/racial makeup of the board. Charlie may denounce this as "official racism." The Brawler would suggest it's a wholly defensible effort by the board (and the positions are unpaid) to look like the community in which it lives. Certainly corporations are trying to do just that.

But why allow nuance when incitement is so much more fun.
