And This Is One Of Their Favorite People

All of the right wing squawkers, from Sykes to PaddyMac to even the former blogger, former squawker McBride, and their Posse Comatose, love themselves some Michelle Malkin.

Now we know why, thank to Dan Cody:

How classy of her to be hamming it up with some starker who has a swastika in Obama's name. Class acts all around, just like our local hate right wingers.

For further distastefulness, Other Side discusses the racist cartoon that appeared in the New York Post.

Gotta love them "big tenters."

  1. Yep, you're right, no photoshop and to be honest, when Malkin discussed it on her blog, I was more than a little disappointed in her response. It was like, well, the left did it to Bush (true)so the left shouldn't be upset when the conservatives do it.
It's wrong when either side does it.

  2. This is the NEW & IMPROVED Republican Party! Now with more swastikas!

  3. Except, you know, the "left" didn't hold rallies attended by elected officials where they celebrated a guy with "Bush = Nazi" sign.

  4. dailykos is chock full of hate speech against the right.

But as has been said before, it doesn't make it right because the other side does it. We should all take the high road and call out the haters amoung us.

  5. Mr. Preston,

The right have their own version of DKos in Little Green Footballs.

    I don't read either. I don't read Huffington either.

But I agree with the need to call out the poor behavior. I would also call for an end to the hero-worship these people receive.

    Well said.

  7. Does someone have the link to Malkin's response?

  8. Here's Malkin's defense, such as it is.

The best point ... not one of the prominent Republicans politicians on the stage where this clown showed up apparently thought the sign a little overboard.

  9. She posed with the guy and the sign, that is the problem.

  10. When I saw that cartoon I didn't think of President Obama. I'm beginning to think those who do see the correlation are the ones who are racist. WTH?? I actually thought it was in poor taste because of the chimp who was shot by the police. There was nothing funny about that incident and I am surprised anyone would use it in a cartoon.

And Zach...I was considering on voting for you but man you are making it hard for me with your run of immature comments lately.

  11. Anon, it's not immature...it's called a joke.

Please don't forget, even "clowns" have the right to peacefully carry their signs.

Yes we should call them out when they are hateful, but it still just might be legally protected speach.

  13. Just because a form of speech is legal does not mean that it must be countenanced. It would have been simple for any of the politicos on the bill to call out the fool for what he was and make a point for reasoned discourse.

Of course, that would have made him/her the subject of the Malkinistas wrath instead.
