Cryptic cookie

Can't imagine what it could mean, but a woman I know says she found this advice in her fortune cookie recently:

"If Jessica McBride says she wants to interview your husband for a feature story, don't leave the room."

  1. That woman would be a smart cookie herself. She would not be the wife left with the crumbs!

  2. especially if it was part of an undercover investigation.

  3. An investigation by a private eye, presumably. Can't shop this one to the cop shop!

  4. What the hell are you implying, x-off? I've read it and reread it and still have no idea what the heck you are talking about. But, keep on making pointless points on capper's forum. Maybe he understands it.

  5. It's not my forum. It's a communal blog.

And I don't know what it means either.

  6. I think it might be because she and Chief Flynn both belong to the whatyacallit Forum. She's a great mother, too.

  7. I can only hope it will all become clear some day soon.

  8. So a funny thing happened on the way to the whatyacallit forum?

  9. xoff,

My understanding it should be clear to everybody in the very near future. Possibly Friday.

What an awesome story. She's such a trainwreck. Or is it homewrecker?

  10. The Journal-Sentinel is reporting Chief Flynn admitted to an affair with McBride.

Here's another cryptic cookie: "If you're Bucher and a Sheboygan woman hires you to represent her in suing the city because the city told her to remove a web link to the police department, make sure your client doesn't go sleeping with married cops while the lawsuit is pending."

  12. Poof. Another one bites the dust.

    I can't stop laughing.

  13. Access by Invitation Only, indeed.

  14. Not so cryptic cookie. Flynn's a democrat. He will be the victim.

  15. The Sentinel editor Kaiser's explanation of her previous unethical disasters is a flatout lie. He and other editors and reporters at that paper have protected her because of her ideological viewpoint. She is plainly not well and neither is she moral. God save her and them for their lies.

  16. Cryptic cookie nothing, I had a cryptic dream last night. Sykes and McBride were playing a baseball game. McBride had just scored her second run, but Sykes was still ahead, 3-2.

Sykes was at bat when I woke up...

  17. My apologies- good ESP, X-Off

  18. She is a relentless self promoter who based her dubious career on liasons with district attorney and police chiefs. The Journal Sentinel, TMJ4 and radio 620 are giving her a bye, no doubt because they share her ideology.

I am from the East and I see it as insider Jessicca versus foreigner Flynn. In the Milwaukee I have learned to know and sometimes love, that is no contest.

  19. I'd like to suggest a longer, more nuanced new name for this blog: "A complete meeting on all levels - mind, body, heart that I have never experienced. You completed me that night"

  20. Flynn should be fired immediately...anyone with such poor taste in women can't be trusted with the public safety of a city with half a million souls in it.....

  21. Major Burns and Hot Lips Hoolihan in the MASH movie...
    "God wanted us together..."
    "HIS WILL BE DONE!"
