The Intellectual Elite Of The Right

A faithful reader cued me on this one. Vicki McKenna, the version of Jessica McBride that still has somehow hung on to her show, has a number of Facebook pages.

On her page, someone posted this:

Here it is blown up:

Would someone tell me how your suppose to even have a conversation with people so ignorant that they consider this to be cute?

  1. Probably as funny as the left thinks these pictures are:

But did you have any comments on this? Nah, didn't think so.

  3. Nice trick question, anonymous. Feel what way about all black men or Obama?

  4. Dan...Joseph Cordio was out-of-line posting that picture on Vicki McKenna's Facebook page. Especially...after the recent comments made elsewhere about Michelle's ancestors being a gorilla and the picture that was sent via email by some republican showing President Obama's picture as two white eye balls on a black background. Then...there are the racially charged comments made on conservative blogs/websites...some even using the "N" word that go unchallenged. I think that is what bothers me the most about this type of "humor"...is it goes unchallenged by those on the right who know better. Would it have killed Vicki to make a comment under the post on her Facebook page that simply said "not funny" or "not appropriate" or something else that would have indicated to her *followers* they should check themselves and keep it in-line? That is what someone worth their salt would have done...IMO.

  6. So,anonymous, by your comments and lack of comments, it seems that it is ok that Bush is made out to be a chimp and it is not right for Obama to be portrayed by Sasquatch, which is no way related to anything racist or related to the gorilla family. Your excuse is very pathetic and your hypocrisy is frightening.

  7. Dan...please explain how I am being hypocritical. I never said it was okay to make President Bush out to be a chimp...but doing so is not racist.

I do believe people are pushing the envelope to see what they can get away with when making fun of President Obama. I think this comparison to Bigfoot had a specific intent...and it wasn't to be humorous.

Personally...I don't agree with any of the name calling or derogatory comparisons. I don't have that kind of sense of humor. I don't think it's "funny" to make fun of people. I find it mean.

  8. As a chimp, I was disgusted with the Bush comparison. We have now been proven to be very intelligent creatures, and this only hurts that progress.

As for the Sasquach comparison to Obama, I take it with a grain of salt. Why? Because, Sasquach, like so many things McKenna believes in, doesn't really exist.
