The Juneau Effect

News of Jamie Lynn Spears' pregancy sparked a flurry of tongue-clucking and "What will we tell the children" or "Where are the parents?" talk on the Charlie Sykes show. Indeed, the Brawler recalls hearing such chatter as recently as a few weeks ago.
Thus we can only suspect that when Charlie hits the mike on Tuesday he'll be equally critical of the potential vice president Sarah Palin given her 17-year-old daughter is five months pregnant.
Right?
"Life happens," says the McCain campaign, and the Brawler agrees. Charlie's position is, what's the word, situational.

  1. We know the pundit playbook calls for these right-wingers to always be on the offense. So I predict Sykes' evasive maneuver will be to attack "the left" for lack of sensitivity and invasion of privacy. He'll say the left and Obama are worse because they like to kill unborn babies.

I personally think we should leave the Palin family alone on this, by the way.
