He Ain't Seen Nothing Yet

UPDATE: Two readers have pointed out that I have crassly forgot the tragedy that occurred in Charlie's life, when his mother passed away. I wish to acknowledge that horrendous time for the Sykes family, and apologize for failing to make that link.

The new ratings for the last quarter of 2007 came out in the paper. Sykes, unfortunately, did pretty well.

On his blog, he crows about his ratings, and in an act of false humility, he writes:

'07 was a tough year, so I really appreciate this show of support from the audience. (And apparently there might just be a future in this talk radio thing.)

One can only presume by tough, he means that stiff competition he is facing from Jay Weber at WISN, as well as Whallah! turning it's watchful eye on him, and coming out with things like the COEXIST scandal.

Whallah! has a news flash for Charlie. If he thinks '07 was a tough year, Whallah! is just warming up. We haven't even begun to fight.

  1. Stiff competition from Jay Weber? What would he do if McBride took over the morning slot at WNOV?

  9. Anony 344-

That is funny. However, Grant was able to redeem himself and was granted a pardon by the Governor.
