"Pissing In Tents" And Other Tales Of Voter Fraud (NOT!)

My, my, but the Brawler has been a busy, busy man. He has also noted McIlheran's feeble attempts to justify voter suppression, and wrote not one, not two, not even three, but four definitive posts showing what a poor messenger McIlheran is for such a poor message. Of course, for an intellectual heavyweight like the Brawler, this wasn't even enough to break a sweat.

And no intellectual lightweight himself, Cory Liebmann, at One Wisconsin Now, throws a couple of posts up showing the fallacy of the voter suppression crowd.

It is to wonder why the right fears to hear the voice of the people so much. Could it be that their agenda is a bad one?

  1. The complicity of the (Milwaukee?) Journal Sentinel in advancing the fraudulent notion of "voter fraud" cannot be overstated. Middling pasty-faced editors and reporters there have been played like a jaw harp by the state Republican Party, to the point-and this is a fact-that the Republicans successfully lobby to secure certain reporters to cover certain stories. At any rate, even the most outrageous examples of people voting against the rules would not affect the outcomes of any election in any recent cycle. It's a lie. A lie. A fricking bald-faced lie advanced by a rightist newspaper without any backbone or moral core. The Toad McIlheran, the Twin Hell-bound Adulterers, all of them feed their fake outrage with items placed deliberately in the "news" pages of the Journal Sentinel. It's shameful, just shameful. In another era, the consequence for the paper's abrogation of duty and complicity with the shabbiest dregs of political rightism would pour people into the streets. Here's to the day when that rag shutters its doors and here's to the failure of their agenda to keep black people from voting.

  2. Hey, don't sell the paper short: They also want to force rape victims to bear their rapist's child.
